Decades of production allowed to gather an unequalled know-how in processing Copper and its alloys. By developing and casting its alloys, which represents the input material, hence an important contribute to the final product performance, Metalminotti performs tailored process for customized and ready-to-be-used solutions.

The production starts with the casting activity. Metalminotti cast its own Copper alloys which are characterized by their own chemical analysis and properties. In many years of production, Metalminotti developed high performance alloys, such as MZ®, Alloy 205® and Alloy 206® which has been studied and patended to improve performances. Of course, Metalminotti covers all major international standards in order to provide the Customer with the broadest range of products.

The foundry counts 12 furnaces which cast up to 22 tons per piece. Sand-castings are supplied according to patterns and respecting very tight tolerance. Hot and cold-processing are then performed. Metalminotti supply the largest forged piece available on the market, up to 5 tons, being recognised as a leading manufacturer in the production of the best High-conductive copper alloys forgings. Drop-forging, ring-rolling, plate-rolling are also performed. For long products, operations of extrusion and cold-drawing manufacture hundreds of profiles with the tightest tolerances granted. Final machining is performed in the modern machining shop.

Metalminotti disposes of a large inventory of sheets, extruded, forged and rough machined solid rounds in a wide range of copper grades and dimensions. If requested, it carries out specific cuttings to get finished items with CNC water-jet machines saving material and extra machining.
